Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have answers that cover questions related to the MOM EOP.

The MOM Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP) is a compulsory course for all employers of Migrant Domestic Workers, providing essential knowledge to ensure a safe and compliant working relationship.
Note: Employer requirements for hiring an MDW

You can take the EOP either online or in the classroom.
Note: Ensure that the information in the EOP registration and Work Permit application forms is the same so that MOM can match the records.

You can choose to complete the EOP online if you are eligible. Please note you will need to have a valid SingPass to login and access the EOP after registration.

Classroom EOP is available every Friday from 6pm - 9pm. If any class falls on a public holiday, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class on a different day. Please visit our website (www.eop.com.sg) for the classroom EOP schedules.

Upon completion of your EOP, please allow for 2 working days before making any application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

You need to attend the EOP if:
You are a first-time employer of an MDW (you can be exempted if you meet certain criteria).
Note: There is no expiration date of your EOP attendance/completion unless you are otherwise informed by the Ministry of Manpower. You may proceed to employ an MDW accordingly if you had previously attended the EOP. However, if you had employed an MDW before 2004 and now wish to employ an MDW again, you are required to complete the EOP before applying for your new MDW.

For security reasons and communication purposes, you will be required to have a local mobile number and email address in order to register and complete the EOP. You can register for a free email account here.
